There are so many amazing hairdressers out there, but social media has made industry stars out of some people that may not be the best business people.

Take your cues from truly successful people and you will understand why these two behaviours are counterproductive to your long-term success.

  1. I am an independent hairstylist and don’t ever close my book to new clients because people move, go try other stylists every once in awhile, get sick and/or die; basically things change and it can slow down from time to time.
    I agree with you that it’s so important to be open to new clients. Your second point is spot on and is why I prefer generic education, like the Energizing Summit. They’re not selling a brand and are educating stylists based on fact. It’s refreshing to say the least. Thanks for your common sense approach💖💖💖
